I decided to see the parental castle first and stay out of the way of the rush for the fairy tale castle for now The name of this castle is Hohenschwangau and was the summer residence of King Ludwig II, built by his father, King Maximillian III of Bavaria |

The parents' castle is surrounded by great parks with old and bizarre looking trees |
