The
excellent ampitheatre in Pammukkale |
What
remains of the old thermal bath. I could not make myself get into the
soup. Too many people. |
Wading
in the supposedly health-promoting pools. Dad, in the background (MIB)
prouldy smiles as I take a picture of his daughter, my charming guide.
|
Impressive
ruins to wander through. |
The
famous white cliffs of Pammukkale. Bare feet only, although some clods
continue to wear shoes and this contribute to the deterioration of this
fabulous sight. Even my young guide remembers these cliff as whiter than
they are now. |
You
can clearly read the name of the god Apollo on one of these stones I found
in the ruins. |
All
that glitters is definitely gold. Part of the exhibit of the small local
museum |
