The next morning the weather had changed, and a huge sandstorm raged. Visited the museum & I then and lef. You can just see the excavated and restored lion from the entrance of the museum at the bottom center of the picture |

The pre-occupation of the population with the dead, reminded me of the unique vertical tombs, depicted below. I was close by. Thinking that I'd have another day to visit them, but the sandstorm eliminated that possibility. |
