The riverfront is lined with floating restaurants

Outside of the excellent and modern Nubian Museum,

I spent some time at the shop of a local merchant who also had a Nikon D70 and told me that the city plans to demolish this very old bazaar and replace it with a modern shopping center. He made it his mission to take as many pictures of the bazaar as he could, before then. I set my camera down, and took a number of sneaky night shots, but was usually immediately noticed by the kids.
