Bekaa Valley - Baalbek

The Temple of Apollo at Baalbek. There is nothing like this anywhere else on Earth. The scale is almost too difficullt to grasp. NOTE the two people right next to it.

Standing there makes one wonder how this was accomplished	The entire roof underside was done like this

A few remain of the 26 meter tall columns. Look at the size of the people. The entire construction must have been mind-bending

The complete outer edge of the roof was carved like this

Then I heard operatic singing and followed the beautiful sound of music

And discovered this little lady pushing the acoustic limits of this grand stage most skillfully

She was, in fact, a professional opera singer from Bulgaria, who was touring this place.
