England 2005/6

London

William the Conqueror's Keep and once the largest structure in England

I stopped on the Tower Bridge for some pictures of the new construction , incl. the new City Hall curved glass building
So, ok, not the largest building in England anymore, but still impressive, and nearly 900 years older than everything else one sees here

And on to Butler's Warf Pier for one of my favorite views of the Tower Bridge

One of the creative displays at Selfridge, (like: turn to jelly, old bean)

A year later, in July, I was in London again. Here Oxford Street with its miriad of stores and restaurants, across from Selfridge
And this is what rush-hour looks like on Oxford Street. The rest, of course is traveling underground.

The Dominion Theater at Tottenham Courts Road Station

For a change of pace I decided to head out in the evening and take some night shots
Part of he London Tower by night

Not to leave Picadilly Circus out of the game, so here we go.

Then for me it was time to head to Waterloo Station and catch the Eurostar to Paris. The Eurostar now uses a different station in London.
