Walking around the center of town, I heard marching music and followed up |

The music took me to the massive cathedral, once a mosque, but like most houses of worship, ultimately reconverted to be a church |

I got there just in time to see a mob of people disappering inside |

Inside there was a huge crowd filling the back of the cathedral, with armed marchers lined up in front of this statue, which at the time I did not realize, was the tomb of Christopher Columbus |

The town is pleasant to walk around in |

The old Jewish Quarter |
Other interesting nooks and crannies to lose oneself in |
Love those large door knockers |

On the way back to the train station I remember suddenly hearing the sound of a Spanish guitar, expertly played, coming from one of the balconies |
