Along the Grand Canal

 

 

One family that might not have been messed around with a lot

 

 

An endless variety of facades and minor palaces

 

This one contains a market hall with more stands outside

 

 

On the way to a landing to go to another island, I saw the ambulance

 

Murano, the Glass Island. Not really, but that's the center of the famous Venice artistic glass industry and well worth a visit

 

Endless variety of glass items, some amazing, some, well, for particular taste

 

Some of the superb glass works of art Venice is known for

 

 

Luck had it that right next to my hotel there was this fine arts museum that once use to be a monastery. Very cool and a worthy stop

 

Then all that remained was to catch the bus leaving on the other side of the bridge

 

 

And let it take me back to the Venice train station...
