This was about as good as it ever got, just as we were pulling in to dock

Most people did not dare to leave the landing, for fear of missing the boat. I took my chances and hiked some way up the mountain

A saw a little hunter's chapel and	further up, small icy stream filling a still iced-up pond

At the lower levels there was a real fairy tale forest here between those high mountains

Finally, there was noise and yelling from the dock to get the hikers back, and having safely made it, this was the pariting shot
