Portsmouth

Following up on some of British Naval Tradition took me to the old war harbor of Portsmouth

There, on base, in the chow hall, I not only had one of the best meals I had in England, but afterwards easily found what I had come here for, Admiral Nelson's HMS Victory.

Porttsmouth, being a Royal Navy port at the time of my visit, there was also a modern airccraft carrier here - the year was 2001 and this one may be out of service by now.
