Mist Trail

My camera, my DSLR Nikon D610 was drenched and after the futile act of wiping it dry, I did a quick test shot away from the deluge to make sure it still worked. Amazingly, it did.

One final turn, almost into the Vernal Fall, and suddenly there was sunlight above and people yelling. It was over.

The thunder receded, and there were people lying everywhere with their equipment spread out. The Sun never felt so good.

Looking back at the string of struggling folks that were still coming up and hadn't reached the full force of the fall's spray yet.

After resting a while and getting warm and a bit less wet, I went to take some pictures from above the fall.

Way down there, in the center of the picture is the bridge that one crosses. It's a long way off, but a lot of folks turn back there.

And that takes care of Mist Trail. I did find the expected rainbow in the spray below the fall, with the Sun behind me. Even a doulble, and the last two images show you where the river is coming from and going to.
