For me at least, this was an overall unsuccessful trip. While I love to travel and enjoyed being here, for this year my means were limited, and I had only planned to visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea). Try as I might, for any number of reasons, not the least of which was a national holiday, I was unable to manage it and will have to return. Not that I mind. I will come back with 'deeper pockets' and will spend a little time in Seoul once again in addition to finally visiting the DMZ. |
