My former friend Melissa. Inveterate traveler and adventurer, whose suitcase is always packed. Originally, ran across her and her sister in Cairo, Egypt, and again in Luxor. After that I visited her in Japan, at Yokota AB. She was in the USAF and stationed there. She got out and worked as a civilian with the US Army in Germany, near Stuttgart. Got out of there, too. She used to hate to run. Now she runs marathons. She went through lots of changes in her young life - lets leave it at that.
