Dubrovnik, Croatia 2011
To get away from the thick crowds, the lady in the store recommended the city walls. I made a fast paced walk through town to find a back staircase in a side alley. I ended up next to the Naval Museum. Here is a tip, find a ticket booth and get the combination ticket for Dubrovnik, and it will include all the museums, the wall, and the citadel. |

Only by doing this walk on the city walls, will you get a true appreciation for the compact and still inhabited ancient fortified city and it's dominating location. |
