Amsterdam Ship Museum 2001

I ended up bicycling to the harbor and the ship museum

Kids could sit on deck and listen to the old tales of the sea

Holland once ruled the seas and this museum displays magnificently crafted models and many artefacts of those old vessels and life at sea. The fleet was the source of the wealth of the Dutch merchants

On the way to the harbor I saw this old windmill that is part of a brewery and probably was used to grind the grains for making beer and ale.
