Kowloon

 

After worrying and wondering where she had gotten to - we flew on separate aircraft - we finally got it all sorted out and made our way, late that tired night into Kowloon. It took a commuter train and a taxi ride to get us into the heart of the action.

Everything you have heard or seen about this part of Hong Kong is true. It is a wild and crazy place that picks up steam as the day goes by.
A night of sleep and we were bright eyed and bushy tailed and ready to go again. At every street corner free newspapers to all passers-by. Of course, we couldn't read a thing. We had breakfast at the YMCA, where I would stay if I made it to HK again, or in the visiting military club on Hong Kong itself.
Looking for the ferry terminal, we had our first amazing glimpse of Hong Kong and Victoria Hill
Red ferries go to HK island and green ones come back. Got that? It's an old Chinese secret.
