| I find this immense statue of the reclining Buddha at Wat Po, beyond compare. I remembered it for 40 years, since I saw it last, and still find it as fascinating and impressive today as I did back then. The shot at the bottom of the page gives you a sense of scale. Look at the people standing next to his feet. It's absolutely huge - don't miss it. |
