Akko (Acre)

A lighthouse presiding over old city and harbor fortifications and a harbor that was already used by Phoenecians and Egyptians.

Beautifully preserved and looked like this probably when the Templar Knights were still in command here
The old market square
You can just see the restaurant where I ate
Palestinian kids at play and a fearless flyer
Akko is a popular spot for local tourists, too.

The seafood restaurant where I ate

The complex alleys of the ancient town
And here you can see a very old mosque

Typically 'large-eyed' Middle Eastern Muslim girls. One daringly modern, one traditional.
