The Minaret

The minaret of old Bukhara that caught our eye immediately

The minaret in all its glory. The entrance is up on the roof level of the adjacent building, the bridge and door just visible on the right

And it is accessible. A steep climb, but worth every step up (again, the little bridge leading into the tower).

Still an active mosque

These could be scenes from hundreds of years ago. Not a trace of modern technology in sight
