Organic Food Festival

It must have been a Saturday morning when I got to the Central Square and they were just setting up a large tent structure for a little organic food festival. For me and from all I could tell, it was an all-day success. I even bought some honey liquor and two little bottles of wine. It was just a one-day thing. They had something very similar in the center of Zagreb, but that ran for at least a full week. Part of what they are doing, other than to raise awareness of healthier foods, they want people to not just shop for imported goods, when excellent domestic alternatives exist.

Sampling a little honey-sweetened, organic tea in the sun by the river is true bliss

She sold me the two little bottles of delicious organic red wine and gave me a taste from the jar as well. By then I was ready to buy all sorts of things.

People walked in from all over and all sorts of street actors, good and bad, were working the crowds, at or near the festival.

Dobra Voda. After tasting it, I was looking all over to find it. Never did. It was delicious

Sometimes I was delightfully invisible, and sometimes, I swear, everyone saw me, even when shooting from the waist, while looking elsewhere.
